DSD Analysis Consultation<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />Are there folks available willing to consult on DSD analysis? I could use some assistance.
Thanks
Richard
Re: DSD Analysis Consultationthanks for your quick reply!
Right now I need direction on getting value out of my data.
Once that has been accomplished I will be ready for training.
CheersRe: DSD Analysis ConsultationThe JMP Community is fortunate to include many qualified experts in design of experiments, including definitive screening designs. I expect that you will get helpful replies to your request. SAS Education, which offers formal JMP training courses, also provides mentoring. We do not call it 'consulting' because our goal is education so that knowledge transfer happens by the end of the mentoring.
This service is arranged like any other training event but it is intended for situations where a course in our training curriculum is not the best fit but customized training would be beneficial. Mentoring can be for a short period or an extended period. Mentoring can be one-on-one with an individual or with a group.
Re: DSD Analysis ConsultationI'm lookging for a Paid Consultant.
One who know about data analytics and reporting that add value not just prettiness.
Cheers
Re: DSD Analysis ConsultationI've found a consultant and also had several offer advice on where to
start.
Thanks,

Re: DSD Analysis ConsultationDave - thanks for your response.
I'm using JMP V12.2 and also have the add-in from Dr. Jones. There is an
analysis done by the add-in, but I didn't find it particularly useful as a
new user to JMP. I have watched the video you referenced several times,
but the technique Dr. Jones discusses required additional runs and fake
factors to be added to the design at the onset. Our experiment was already
completed, so this was not an option for me in my opinion.
I've had several folks from the JMP forum offer assistance in this area for
which I'm most grateful. I'm favorably impressed by the JMP User Community
and look forward to learning more about using JMP effectively.

Re: DSD Analysis ConsultationJust curious, which version of JMP do you have? DSD designs were integrated into JMP, at least, in version 11 and maybe even 10. Prior to that there was a DSD Add-In that I believe BradleyJones distributed. If you have one of these current version, you do not need the Add-In as it is resident in the DOE platform.
On the other hand, BradleyJones gave a great talk about further enhancing the power of a DSD design. Dr. Jones talks about a way to increase the power of a DSD through some creative steps. Are you referring to this potential Add-In?

Re: DSD Analysis ConsultationHi Richard. Were you looking for paid consultation to work with you through the analysis or simply some advice on where to start?
Re: DSD Analysis ConsultationThanks - I will look into the Fit Model.

Re: DSD Analysis ConsultationI'd start by plotting the responses vs. factors in a Fit Y by X mode. Distributions of the responses might also help. A run chart of the responses in experimental execution order might tell you if some lurking variable hit at some point in experimental execution. Then onto modeling. I suggest using the Fit Model platform as the one stop shopping hub for analyzing your experiment. All the modeling personalities there have prediction profilers embedded into them.
Re: DSD Analysis ConsultationDefiniative Screening Design.
We've run a small experiment and have the various responses. I'm
relatively new to using JMP and trying to understand how to analyze the
DSD. I have the DSD add-in from Dr. Jones which was used to create the
design. The analysis of the design in order to generate a response
profiler is what I was after.
Hope that answers your question.

Re: DSD Analysis ConsultationCould you please be more specific on what your definition of DSD Analysis is?
Re: DSD Analysis ConsultationHi Peter_Bartell,
I was trying to use the Fit Model Platform but I saw that the platform analyzes my 4 response individually, how do i combine all the model together so that I have the model predicting the 4 response together with the 4 factors that I have.Re: DSD Analysis ConsultationI do not know of a way to combine the four responses unless you have a super function that is a linear combination of the original responses.
I will assume that you mean to simulataneously optimize the four responses. I recommend that you select the best model separately for each response, then save the estimated model (red triangle > Save Columns > Save Prediction Model). When you have saved all four models, select Graph > Profiler. Select the four new data columns with the formulas.
