Excel workbook Hide Rows - VBAHello,
I would like to know the best way to hide all rows based on specific criteria. The Criteria is:
In row 14 column B it asks the question (how many compressors?) in column C of same row is where the value is input (2)
in Cell range B25-34 i have a list of compressors 1-10.
if the number of compressors is 2 (cell C14) i want to hide 8 of the 10 rows.
Any help would be appreciated.
Josh
Re: Excel workbook Hide Rows - VBA@Jparra12,
Can you elaborate a little - based on your tags it looks like you are trying to acheive what you want in VBA and has no relation to JMP ? If that is correct, you might find help faster on a VBA forum .
In case I misread your question and you are trying to hide rows in JMP , the following will work :
// Open Sample Data
dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Cities.jmp" );
// Select Rows that match a condition
dt << Select Where(:city == "HOUSTON") ;
// Hide and Exclude Rows
dt << Hide and Exclude ;
// Instead if you want to delete the rows
Wait(0.5); // For demonstrative purposes only
dt << Delete Rows;
This can be edited and adapted to apply conditions based on information captured through a UI or a specific cell in your table
