That's an interesting idea Volker. So, make this a global academic space, with sub-spaces to manage the different regions? I like it. What does everyone else think?

Right, we could have some territory specific sub-spaces (like for US or EU conferences) and some global ones (like Academic Community Planning).

Structure of the academic team site does not need to change, they may just create a few subspaces to include their content.
