JMP to R Add-In Builder - write error

I'm trying to use the JMP to R Add-In Builder and I'm getting the following error when I try to build it (after completing last step in the builder):

� in access or evaluation of 'Write' 

I was able to create an add-in file previously with the builder, but after changing file extension to view the files within the add-in and deleting numerous add-in files (with the same name) I'm now getting this error.  I can't see any code since the add-in doesn't finish building, so I'm finding this very hard to trouble shoot.  Thanks for any help.

You're correct--saving to a different location eliminated the error.  Also good to have the unencrypted version of the add-in available to help trouble shoot other issues as they arise.  Thank you very much for your help.

I was also able to reproduce the error you're seeing. I think I know why. What directory are you choosing to save your  add-in to? Is it a directory that's mounted with a UNC path (i.e. it starts with a //)? Or is it on a drive that's mounted with a drive letter (i.e. C: or )?

 

If it's a drive that's mounted with a UNC path that's the problem. The add-in isn't prepared to deal with UNC paths. Change instead to a drive that mounted with a drive lettter and I think it will work.

 

PS: I've just re-uploaded the JMP to R addin-builder with the JSL code unencrypted.
