Threshold Weibull fit extensionDoes anyone know how to extend TH Weibull fit to lower probability values? I have dataset that fits well with TH weibull, but I am unable to extend the fit to low PPM values. Appreciate the help
Re: Threshold Weibull fit extensionYes, you can saved the fitted models. Use the red triangle for the fit as you see here:

By the way, what version of JMP are you using? Here is my plot from JMP 13 with the curves extending their own:

Re: Threshold Weibull fit extensionIs there a way to extract the equation of the curves? That will help to manually superimpose a curve.
The reason I want to extend is to have a graphical representation of failure rates at lower probability. I can estimate quantiles, but graphical representation is much better, especially to compare groups in the same graphic.
I would appreciate if you can show an example of how to use other plots in the profilers for this purpose.
Thanks for your help!
Re: Threshold Weibull fit extensioni do not know of any way to change the plotting of the curves in this plot You can try different scales to see if that helps, but the limits are part of an internal routine and not accessible through the usual means.
I understand that you want to extend the curves in this probability plot, but what about using the other plots in the profilers? (You didn't say the reason you want the extension.)
Re: Threshold Weibull fit extensionHi Mark,
I am attaching an example (JMP file and picture with comments). I have highlighted which line I want to extend. Appreciate your help!
Thanks,
Darshan
Re: Threshold Weibull fit extensionWhat do you mean by 'extend?' I do not understand the limitation that you encountered. Where do you want to extend it? In one of the profilers? Custom estimation or prediction?
