Many of the Teaching scripts no longer work correctly in JMP 13.
Fix: (may require admin access for a permanent fix, Based on JMP Pro 13 for Windows, )
Edit the underlying *.JSL script (on Windows, \Program Files\SAS\JMPPRO\13\Samples\Scripts\...
Look for "<&amp;lt;P&amp;gt;If the &amp;amp;quot;&amp;lt;&amp;lt;Script(&amp;amp;quot; code is within a RadioBox() or a ComboBox()&amp;lt;/P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;P&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; comment out (or delete) the &amp;amp;quot;&amp;lt;&amp;lt;Script(&amp;amp;quot; and the corresponding &amp;amp;quot;)&amp;amp;quot;&amp;lt;/P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;P&amp;gt;Not all of the &amp;amp;quot;&amp;lt;&amp;lt;Script( ... )&amp;amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; are incorrect.&amp;lt;/P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;P&amp;gt;Be sure to test the JSL before and after the chage&amp;lt;/P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;P&amp;gt;Reason ?:&amp;lt;/P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;P&amp;gt;It appears that JMP made a change in JSL syntax some version ago&amp;lt;/P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;P&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; from: RadioBox( contents, &amp;lt;&amp;lt;Script( jslcode) )&amp;lt;/P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;P&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; to:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; RadioBox( contents, jslcode )&amp;lt;/P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;P&amp;gt;Version 12 documents the new syntax but retained the ability of running the old&amp;lt;/P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;P&amp;gt;Version 13 no longer allows the old syntax&amp;lt;/P&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/BODY&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/HTML&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/lingo-body&amp;gt;
