In Leverage Residual plots in the Fit Model platform, why are the abscissa leverage values shifted somewhat from their actual values?<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />In Leverage Residual plots in the Fit Model platform, I can understand why the ordinate leverage values are shifted relative to their actual values but I have a more difficult time understanding why the abscissa leverage values are also shifted from their actual values? I assume it's for a similar reason but for the ordinate, I understand it's shifted depending on the individual affect the particular parameter on the abscissa axis has on the parameter plotted on the ordinate axis. But I don't understand what would be shifting the leverage value on the abscissa axis.

Re: In Leverage Residual plots in the Fit Model platform, why are the abscissa leverage values shifted somewhat from their actual values? This is a good question that I would also like to understand the answer to. However, when I clicked on the podcast address below, the screen showed connecting for a long time and then I gave up. Am I too impatient or is that podcast no longer available? If the latter, is there another way I could understand this?
Thanks!
