how to keep cell color of JMP table<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />Hi,
I made a script that check last 30 days average and color in red if its above or bellow 1/3 of my limit
(assuming i keep my limit in 3 sigma it check for one sigma shift)
i can't save the color format into journal or XLS file, is there a way to share it with ppl that do not have JMP?
(I can't change zoom of JMP table so i can't even image capture it since its longer then one page...)
For( i = 1, i <= N Row( dt ), i++,
If( Column( dt, "Mean 30 days" )[i] > (((Column( dt, "Target" )[i])*2 + Column( dt, "Upper limit" )[i] )/3)
,Column( dt, "Mean 30 days" ) << Color Cells( 3,{i} )
)
);
For( i = 1, i <= N Row( dt ), i++,
If( Column( dt, "Mean 30 days" )[i] < (((Column( dt, "Target" )[i])*2 + Column( dt, "Low limit" )[i] )/3)
,Column( dt, "Mean 30 days" ) << Color Cells( 3,{i} )
)
);
Re: how to keep cell color of JMP tableI guess the answer then is to upgrade to JMP 12.
I am sorry that I don't have a better solution
Re: how to keep cell color of JMP tablethanks for the fast reply
the moment i make it into journal i lose the colors (making it to PDF after doesn'tbring the colors back)
* i have JMP 10

Re: how to keep cell color of JMP tableIn JMP 12, the cell colors are copied to a journal; Given your above script, you can add:
new window("my journal",<
dt<
Here is the journal output for a simple example I ran:

Re: how to keep cell color of JMP tableMaybe something like this?
NamesDefaultToHere(1);
// Colour some cells in a table
dt = Open("$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.jmp");
hCol = Column(dt, "height") << Set Property("Color Gradient", {"White to Blue", Range( 40, 80 )} );
hCol << Color Cell By Value( 1 );
// Make a PDF on the Desktop
nw = NewWindow("My Window", PanelBox("Big Class", dt << getAsReport));
nw << savePDF("$DESKTOP/Big Class.pdf");
