BadMarking - Tests around that area should provide as good results as somewhere else

My customer also asked about the following:

They do Badmaring, so microcellulose will be applied with a fluid. Miss will be marked automatically and false positives/false negatives will be determined. Now they want to assure the tests around those badmarkings is as good as tests further away from those badmarkings.

Would it make sense to do a space filling design for that?
