Second TEVA Update

Question

Hi everyone:

Thanks again for everything you've done to help make this a success.  We're getting there and have the vast majority of the system up and running.  We're still running into some issues and wanted your feedback on three points:

1. We started running into an issue with generating patient profiles from the clinical starter.  We can still generate patient profiles from within a review, but from clinical starter, when I click "Profile Selected Subjects" I get the dialog "ERROR: The current study does not have an ADSL, ADDM, or DM data set".  Any ideas?

2.  It looks like we have a massive number of notes from all of our data updates/managing metadata, and I wonder if that's slowing things down.  Will we lose any functionality if we delete those notes (is that even possible)?

3.  Do you know if there is a way that we can have the "Get clinical review" add-in launch as soon as JMP Clinical opens?  Our IT group seems to think it's possible, but can't put a finger on it.

Hi Mat.

Great to hear that you are getting close.

1) Does Nicardipine still work for this patient profile feature?

2) A massive number of notes can be generated when tracking changes using "Enable Future Snapshot Comparisons".  Do you notice a difference in the number of notes generated when running studies with this feature off?  You will not lose functionality if you delete those.

3) There should be a way to do this.  Are you wanting to load 1 review at a time when they open JMP Clinical?

Here are our thoughts on the questions posed.

Issue 1:

We have seen a similar issue previously reported and have been able to replicate this problem (not inclusive of automation)by adding a study whose data lives on a server, then discarding the client’s credentials to that server, then clicking “Profile Selected Subjects” from the Starter. After re-entering the proper credentials and clicking  “Profile Selected Subjects” again, it works. Given your previous issue (server configuration error), we suspect this problem can be solved once the client is given access to the study data.

Issue 2:

You can delete notes if you wish to, or dump them to a separate place to track later outside the system.  The suggestion is you only delete notes where USER = “JMP Clinical”.  You’ll  lose the snapshot history but you could also only delete where Type = “Duplicate” as it may be duplicates records that are filling the notes.   Notes are saved in the metadata in the JMPCROOT library.

Issue 3:

Yes, for it to automatically launch at startup, either replace your existing com.jmp.clinical.getviewreviews.jmpaddin with the latest one (I will send to you via email), or follow these steps:

* Go to File>Open
* Find the com.jmp.clinical.getviewreviews.jmpaddin file
* Click the down-arrow on the right edge of the "Open" button
* Click "Open using Add-in Builder".
* Under the "Menu items" tab, select "Get Clinical Reviews".
* On the right panel, select the entire script in the Action > Run this JSL window. Copy it.
* Go to the "Start-Up Script" tab.
* Select "Run this JSL:" and paste the script into the box.
* Click Save.
* Restart JMP.
