Join/Horizontal Concatenate

Is there a way I can take 2 columns from one data table and add them to a second data table without creating a third "Joined" table? 

My first table is large and I made a small summary table to do some calculations which I saved in 2 new columns in the summary table. Now I want to put those 2 new columns from the summary table back into the original large table.

The

     Tables==>Join

and

     Tables==>Concatenate

have selection options that allow for the original data table to be added to, rather than a new table created

     Tables==>Update

has this as the normal function
