Hello all,
I am trying to read in a XML file using the "Parse XML" Function.
So far so good, if it wasn´t for the format of the XML. It looks like it is not well set up.
Have a look:
<D BC="0" ID="1" X="10" Y="0">
<A Unit="V">
<P BC="0" ID="0">406.9072E-3</P>
<P BC="0" ID="1">438.1387E-3</P>
<P BC="0" ID="2">438.0009E-3</P>
<P BC="0" ID="3">437.6698E-3</P>
</A>
<B Unit="V">
<P BC="0" ID="0">265.304265E+0</P>
<P BC="0" ID="1">265.304265E+0</P>
<P BC="0" ID="2">265.304265E+0</P>
<P BC="0" ID="3">265.304265E+0</P>
</B>
</D>
<D BC="7" ID="2" X="11" Y="0">
<A Unit="V">
<P BC="0" ID="0">407.4283E-3</P>
<P BC="0" ID="1">438.6683E-3</P>
<P BC="0" ID="2">438.3859E-3</P>
<P BC="0" ID="3">438.0959E-3</P>
</A>
<B Unit="V">
<P BC="0" ID="0">203.125615E+0</P>
<P BC="0" ID="1">203.125615E+0</P>
<P BC="0" ID="2">203.125615E+0</P>
<P BC="0" ID="3">203.125615E+0</P>
</B>
</D>"D" refers to a sample. "A" and "B" are measurement properties.
The element "P" actually contains the measurement values, where the attribut contains the terminal of the sample "ID" and the text contains the value.
I think the problem is, that element "P" contains all measurement values, regardless of the measured property.
If I try to parse the XML, I only get 4 columns at the moment for P, namely for terminal 1,2,3 and 4. However, there should be 8 columns. 4 columns for property "A" and 4 columns for property "B".
Is there a solution to parse this XML to get all the information?
Any help is appreciated.
I was able to parse the XML using a lot of counters and switches.
If anyone has a similar problem i may can provide some help --> pm me.
