Automation Update and Issue

Question

Hi everyone:

Thanks again for providing the automation code.  I'm pleased to report that we've got it working and can access reviews across users, as well as automatically update study data and share reviews.  Thank you so much!

Now for the issue.  When I try to access a review I didn't create, I get the following error when I try to "drill deeper" (such as try to create a patient profile or go to domain viewer):

ERROR: A character operand was found in the %EVAL function or %IF condition where a numeric operand is required. The condition was:

^&armchk or (&armchk and ^%sysfunc(indexw(&&&domain.VARS, ARM, ' ')))

ERROR: The macro CHKBLIND will stop executing.

I have the log attached from one of the patient profiles I tried to produce.  Any ideas how to resolve, or could it be an issue on our side?

Hi Kelci and team:

A general update.  We've gotten the automation process up and running and it's working well, thank you all so much again.

I believe I solved the issue above.  We have been able to have access to studies through the metadata server that we might not otherwise be able to have access to (i.e. get access to data in a locked windows folder through the metadata server).  However, when doing the drill down it appears that we need to have full access to both the SDTM and ADaM librefs (which makes sense anyway...).  So we need to change our setup, but it won't change any of the automation pieces, just where we store our data.

So we're off and running!  Thanks again for your support.

We also found another warning in the LOG file that seems to imply that your SDTM library did not get accurately assigned.

Sometimes there is a problem with JMP assigning and holding on to metadata libraries; JMP will automatically assign all the libraries when you connect to the server.  This can sometimes cause problems when we try to issue another libname statement for the same library.

Can you verify that your metadata Library Names are all unique and that the ADAM and SDTM folders don't have the same libref?
