Display table like structure in email body

Question

Hello,

I have a script which is automated to perform analysis and send out emails to a distribution list. I was trying to display a table in the email body but couldn't figure out a way as the HTML file I'm attaching has that table displayed within table box() but is it possible to concatenate any display to Mail(Body) or is there any other way around using any data structure to implement this.

The table which needs to be displayed can have variable rows but columns are fixed to be 6.

Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

@Wendy_Murphrey is there any formatting you can apply to the body of the email, eg returns, bold/italic/underline, tabs, bullets? Anything at all?

Hello,

The Mail() function is only able to place text in the body of the email. If you could capture the values into a string variable, you could use that string variable as the message argument.  Otherwise, a table could be included as an attachment.

str = Char( dt << Get All Columns As Matrix );
Mail(
  "test@example.com",
  "revelation",
  str,
  "$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.jmp"
);
