In a JSL Popup Box I am trying to add a check mark next to menu items selected by the user (selecting the item again would remove the check mark). Would appreciate it if you can share your script, or point me to functions that can do this (for example, is there a << Set Function to update menu commands).

The answer is to use the message "ob << Set Menu Item State(index, 0|1|-1)" where ob is the outline box with the menu you are targeting.
