Is this a bug for JMP 14?In JMP 14, when I paste multicolumn to a new table with paste with column name, the first column is always selected automatically. Then when I use select all again, only the first column is selected still. But I want all the columns are selected. I don't have this issue in JMP 11.
Re: Is this a bug for JMP 14?I would submit this to JMP Support as a bug.....or at least a descrepancy between JMP 13 and JMP 14

Re: Is this a bug for JMP 14?
Yes. The consequece is if use Ctrl + A to select all rows again in the new JMP data sheet, only first column is selected still. Not all the rows like in JMP 11. So Ctrl + A becomes 1 column selection in the new data sheet.
Re: Is this a bug for JMP 14?The behavior that I see, using Windows 10, and JMP 14.2, is that if any columns are selected, a CNTL/A selects all rows, but no additional columns. I can also confirm that when a paste is done into a new data table instance, that column 1 and only column 1 is selected.
JMP 12 and JMP 13 do not select column 1 when pasting into a new table instance. However, if a column(s) is selected and then a CNTL/A is used, it does not select any additional columns and just selects all of the rows....just as in JMP 14.
Re: Is this a bug for JMP 14?If you use ctrl-A select multicolumns from excel file or other text table, and do the paste w/ or w/o in JMP. You will get it.
Re: Is this a bug for JMP 14?I tried this using JMP 14 on Mac and Windows and was not able to duplicate the problem. I tested using the Big Class and Big Class Families sample data, selecting all rows to Copy and then opened a fresh table and used Edit > Paste With Column Names. Can you describe more about how you produce the problem, and also which OS and JMP version you are using? You might also try resetting preferences, though I'm not sure which preference would affect this behavior.
