How do I extend the Whisker length on an Outlier Box Plot from 1.5*IQR......to say 4*IQR?Re: How do I extend the Whisker length on an Outlier Box Plot from 1.5*IQR......to say 4*IQR?OK. thanks for your replies. I may need to use an overlay plot to achieve the effect I require (Screening limits applied on top of the test data).
I need to go and figure out how to update the test data plus the overlay data (i.e. the screening limits).........but enable this with a column switcher, so I can view other tests (& their screening limits)..........Seems like it will only update the test data (but not the limits).
Re: How do I extend the Whisker length on an Outlier Box Plot from 1.5*IQR......to say 4*IQR?There is an option to change the IQR in the Explore Outliers platform, but you will not get an outlier box plot with it.
Go to Analyze > Screening > Explore Outliers and select Quantile Range Outliers. In the report window you will see options for adjusting your Tail Quantile and the Q value. Once you are satisfied with the results you can choose from the other options for selecting rows, coloring cells...., so that you can visualize the data through Graph Builder or something similar.
Re: How do I extend the Whisker length on an Outlier Box Plot from 1.5*IQR......to say 4*IQR?I am not aware of any options to change the graphic display of an Outlier Boxplot to a different IQR. The only way that I see that you could accomplish that would be to either use JSL to draw your own graph, or to use JSL to agment an existing Box Plot platform.
