Custom Color Theme in Life Distribution as By Goup

I have defined a custom color theme in JSL as a categorical theme. I would like to apply that them to the "by" group in the life distribution platform. Any idea how to force that specific custom theme to be used?

I have already tried the Set Property "Value Colors" to the "be" group field, but that does not seem to work.
