scripting - select a file

Question

Hello everybody,

I'm looking for a function which open the most recent file in a directory. I know the functions File in Directory and Pick File functions but I don't know which function could five me the information of last modification of a file which will help me to open the most recent one in a directory.

Could anyone help me, please?

It will help me to prepare a customer meeting...

Have you tried this one from the Scripting Guide?  You would have to look through all of the files in the directory:

Names Default To Here( 1 );

Format(

Last Modification Date( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.jmp" ),

"ddmonyyyy:h:m:s"

);
