PCA in Scatterplot 3D: Column limit?

Dear JMP Users,

I am attempting a 3D Scatterplot with a large data set. 4 groups 8 samples each and 1700 measures.

I can get the scatter plot to open. However, when I click to perform the PCA JMP crashes.

When I only choose a subset of the measures it works just fine.

Does anyone know the limit?

That does help. With these specs what do you think my limit should be? I'd like to be able to analyze the whole data set.

Adam,

I'm not sure if this will help but JMP runs in-memory therefore the size of the data is related to the amount of RAM that you have installed.
