Data Size limitation while importing<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

Hi,

I am using a trail version of JMP 10. I tried importing a 1.1 GB csv data into JMP but each time I get an error message that says ' Unable to allocate enough memory to open the data'.

From the Product features of JMP 10 it seems that all the data size limitations have been removed post version 7.

My computer system has the following memory specification: 500 GB hardisk and 4 GB RAM. Therefore, there seems to be no restrictions due to system specifications as well.

Can anybody please suggest how to fix this up.

Hi Surbhi,

The trial version of JMP 10 is a 32-bit application so it is limited in the amount of memory it can access.

It appears that your data is larger than that limit. JMP 10 is available as a 64-bit application, and there is no limit there.

Please contact JMP Sales at 877.594.6567 in the US or your local JMP sales team to discuss the options for an evaluation copy of JMP 10 in a 64-bit version.
