JMP trial functionality

Question

I working on a problem that assumes unequal sampling efforts across multiple sites. I believe I need to use the bootstrap function in order to correct the differences effort. Is this function available for use in the JMP 12 trial?

This is for a predictive model. I suspected that might be the case.

Thanks for the question.  Might be helpful to hear more only what type of analysis you want to perform (mean tests, predictive model, etc.).

Note that bootstrap capability is a feature within JMP Pro and not base JMP.

However if you have enough data, you might want to try getting equal sample size by creating a stratified subgroup for each site.

This can easily be done in from the tables menu with the subgroup function - random - stratify option.

Last option would be to adjust the weighting of your anlaysis or model by site.

This could be done by creating a weighting column to use in the anlaysis.
