JMP connecting to Google Bigquery?

Question

Does anyone have experience with using Google Bigquery in conjunction with JMP?  We have a customer currently using Tableau and likes the ability to perform queries alongside plotting and analysis.  It looks like this can be done with R as well.  Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

Hi Peter,

Google Bigquery is a RESTful web service.

Currently we cannot connect to web services directly using the REST api.

My understanding is that this is under consideration for a Query Builder update in JMP13.

danielvalente might be able to share additional information.

Alternatively,  you could use another tool such as, Firefox with a REST extension to query and get the data in a CSV format for ingestion by JMP.
