Why not include our colleagues from Asia?<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />Why not include our colleagues from Asia to this team space? We are so much separated, but this could open a first channel for knowledge exchange and discussions.
I am happy to invite
Yoshiko Kashima (Japan)
Zhihong Xu (Greater China)
Daniel Tung (South-East Asia)
maybe also Pam Maher (Other (incl. CAN, SA, AUS/NZ) ?
What do you think?
Re: Why not include our colleagues from Asia?I agree! We can start simple - key is that we have an environment for open communication and collaboration.
Re: Why not include our colleagues from Asia? Thanks for your feedback, I will let them know.
Structure of the academic team site does not need to change, they may just create a few subspaces to include their content.
Re: Why not include our colleagues from Asia?Good idea Volker. Lets invite them to join but lets not change structure of site at this time.
Japan Academic: Hidehiro Jokan (AE), Yoshito Kashima (IS), Taku Ogasawara (SE)
China: Zhihong Xu
SE Asia: Daniel Tung
Re: Why not include our colleagues from Asia?Right, we could have some territory specific sub-spaces (like for US or EU conferences) and some global ones (like Academic Community Planning).
Re: Why not include our colleagues from Asia? That's an interesting idea Volker. So, make this a global academic space, with sub-spaces to manage the different regions? I like it. What does everyone else think?
