How to specify 2 digit year rule in JSL ?

When importing an HTML table into JMP, I have the following

When changing the character data type to numerical with a date format, I get the following:

When I import the column is automatically assigned to numeric, date format.

The HTML was saved as characters.

Are you changing the format during import?  I don't understand how you are importing a date as characters, JMP should import this as a numeric automatically.

Could you provide the actual HTML???  I just hand wrote one to check my answer before replying.

I think the two digit year rule only applies during the import.  I don't think it is used for a later conversion of the column from character to numeric.

I tested this with an html character file before I answered your question and it worked just fine.
