variable reduction with clustering

I know that in the SAS/STAT package it is possible to find clusters of variables and then select the cluster representatives by using the 1-R2 ratio. Is there some thing similar in JMP?

Google is your friend here - 'Variable cluctering JMP' revealed this and this, amongst several others. I'm not familiar with the details of the method you cite, so you need to judge if what JMP can do is 'sufficiently similar'.
