The attached World Class data table includes the same kinds of data as Big Class but with foreign names. I’d like to add it to the JMP 13 sample data library.
Reviewers commented that some names were old-fashioned, odd, or politically controversial. They’ve verified most of the names.
Can anyone verify that the Albanian, Basque, Finnish, Gaelic, Icelandic, and Swedish names are:
- realistic for 12- to 17-year olds
- appropriate for the given language
- appropriate for the given gender
- spelled properly
- not widely controversial (such as “Adolph” or “Mao”. “Joseph” and other vague names are OK.)
If you can point me to reviewers for these languages, that’d be great.
Other comments on the data are welcome. I’m also sending this email to the JMP Dev list.
Thanks for your help,
Sheila
