Can anyone point me to a guide for testing the assumptions of a repeated measures ANOVA? Also, I understand that repeated measures ANOVA can be done as a multivariate or univariate (stacked) analysis in JMP. In the multivariate method, is subject treated as a random effect as you would in the univariate analysis?
My study is this:
DV: Duration of looking time to a face
Factor one: Trial type (learning trial, target trial, disractor trial).
Factor two: face half (upper face, lower face)
Both factors are repeated.
