JMP Alert message - unable to find reference

JMP 11 Pro (64-bit) on Win 8.1 PC.

I have been running JMP uneventfully until this morning. Now I receive the following message immediately upon opening JMP.

" File Problem writing preferences. Unable to write ut file buffer." in a JMP alert window.

Please advise.

That's a strange one and uncommon.

Please contact Tech Support (support@jmp.com) and they can help diagnose the problem.
