How to add a check mark on a pop up menu item (JSL)

Hi,

In a JSL Popup Box  I am trying to add a check mark next to menu items selected by the user (selecting the item again would remove the check mark). Would appreciate it if you can share your script, or point me to functions that can do this (for example, is there a << Set Function to update menu commands).

How would you then allow the user to change the selection and move the check mark?

I know this is old, but maybe it will help someone.

The answer is to use the message "ob << Set Menu Item State(index, 0|1|-1)" where ob is the outline box with the menu you are targeting.

Looking at the implementation just now, I don't believe there is a way to script the check mark from JSL.  Good idea, thanks.
