I am trying to use the prediction profiler to generate optimal values for a model it generated (using Fit Model). I have three Y variables. I want to maximize Y1, minimize Y2 and Y3 is neutral. I have 100 X factors / model effects.
The model seems to have generated fine. I am also able to set my desirability functions. However, when I try to use the prediction profiler to maximize desirability, nothing happens. There is no progress window that shows up, no indication that the program has crashed or gotten stuck. All of the 100 factor settings remain at their default value (I know at a glance because the default values would make no sense in this context) and I am able to continue to use other features in the Fit Model platform.
Does anyone know what the problem might be? Is there another way to predict the optimal x factor values from the model JMP has generated in Fit Model?

Also, check the Log window to see if there are any messages there.
any chance you might have locked all the factors?
