Class Exercise 3: Showing JMP
Purpose: To learn and discuss Great Demo principles, see some short JMP demos where the principles are applied, and practice giving one of those demos that your team will present the following day.
Preparation: Bring your laptop loaded with JMP Pro 14. Need to download your version? Go to theemployee software download page when you are logged into the internal SAS web (sww.sas.com).
Agenda:
- Presentation and discussion of Great Demo principles (30-45 mins. Gail Massari)
- Short JMP demos for different audiences/purposes (30-45 mins. Jeff Perkinson)
- Choose and practice demo for Thursday Team presentation using JMP Journal provided by Jeff. (30 – 60 mins. Teams)
Take-Aways:
- JMP PowerPoint Template (attached) and JMP Journal you can customize for your Team's demo presentation to be given on Thursday 8:15-12:00 in S-2001.
