How do I move label contours on a contour plot?

Hi, 

I have a contour plot with 5 countours and "label contours" selected. However, I don't see the flexibility to change the labels position on the plot. The labels on my plot are kind of lined up on the edge of the countour and hard to see. So wondering is there a way to move the labels position? I want to move the label in the middle of my countour map.
