JMP L. Graphics Media Internal

@smencia
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalThat's great! @smencia the Source files are in the OneDrive folder you set up.
..../SAS/Stephanie Mencia - JMP Lab/Art
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalNice, I like where we ended up here.
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalI faded the lab equip down to 30% and separated some of the images prepping the file for Diana or Stephanie, or whoever works with SAS signage @danielvalente @smencia
Let me know what else we need here. r

Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalI like the direction that the new design on the left is taken. My eye is still too drawn to the saturated orange and green colors in the beaker and flask. Can we add some transparency and de-saturate the colors by about 50%. I think the lab equipment is cool and works, but I want it more in the background. Thanks Ryan!
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media Internal

Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalI think this is moving in a better direction. My initial thought is to get rid of the chemical reaction diagrams in the background. Also I think maybe the LAB at the top might be a little too busy. Dan likes the direction it's going as well. He was hoping to see a couple less busy alternatives as well. Thank you!
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalHere's a wireframe of a layout. @smencia

Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalYes that would be great!
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalSo I can't find a bubbling beaker photo. Starting to think it's not a common experiment. Most are fumes, vapors, etc. Should I draw a vector scene and lose the Photo look?
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media Internal@ryandewitt So after discussing with Dan, he prefers the one with just the flat image of the microscope but he was hoping for it to be a bubbling beaker...
Something like this.
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media Internalsolid suggestions @nascif_jmp. , perhaps we should reconsider the word innovation, but I agree with the positive nature of your suggestions.
The intention was a customer "to be part of" innovation, or how the next version of JMP is Innovated??
I'll let Dan and Stephanie run with the final messaging/wording.
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalOr "Improve Innovation".
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalMaybe "Increase Innovation" ?
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalI think you want something that signifies an amplification effect.
Influence, like impact, can be good or bad.
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media Internal@ryandewitt I think these look great!
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalWhat about "influence innovation"?
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalOr even
"Augment Innovation"
which not only plays on a verb that is quite viral today (thanks to "Augmented Reality") but also the "EDA" acronym in the left column, a nice play of words with "Exploratory Data Analysis" - one of our core strengths.
Come to think of it, "Augmented Innovation" has a nice rig to it too. And it plays with "AI".
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalI get the appeal of the alliteration but I don't think that "Impact Innovation" sounds as positive as we would like.
"Impact" to my (admittedly, not a native speaker ears) sounds like a negative.
How about
"Improve Innovation"
or (giving up on the alliteration theme, but not by much)
"Enhance Innovation"
or
"Expand Innovation"
?
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalIf you turn the beaker over now, it's a lightbulb. thanks jeff.
Re: JMP L. Graphics Media Internal@smencia

Re: JMP L. Graphics Media InternalI like the 4th big option. Possibly do it in the blue instead and change "Explore JMP 15" to just "Explore JMP"
