Difference Between JMP Pro and JMP Genomics

Hi All,

A few people get questions, every now and then, about what is the difference/similarity between JMP Genomics and JMP Pro in the predictive modeling arena. I have attached two documents to help. 1 is a PPT that is meant to show venn diagrams of overlap and dissimilarity between the two. The other is a word doc that gives more details as to the methods available, and some important capabilties like Model Averaging, Cross Validation schemes, etc. Take a look and post questions to this article so that we have a nice record to point people.

This information is accruate as of JMP Genomics 8.2 and JMP Pro 13.2.1

Quick update. Still accurate for JMP Genomics 9.1 (current version as of today) and JMP Pro 15.0.0

Update: As of JMP Genomics 10, JMP Pro capabilities are now included (JMP Pro 15.1). This article is no longer relevant for JMP Genomics 10 and beyond.
