Secondly, here are the instructions for getting the ODBC driver for SQL Server installed (which you should not need to do if you installed SQL Server Express) and connecting the to the instance of SQL Server Express that you installed. This is also behind the SAS firewall:

Also make sure you click on the hidden "OK" button when you restore the DB. Screenshot below.
