@brady_brady Can you explain how to post a dashboard to JMP Public/Live? You mentioned how to modify the script but it would be helpful to have that documented here. Thank you.
Hi Wendy,
(NOTE: the script below is incomplete and will not run; it is included for reference.)
The main thing to understand is that one cannot insert or "wrap" the dashboard into any other container (for example a window or a tab box.) before using the << Add Report ( ) message to add the dashboard to the JMP Live report.
"Standard" report scripts can be placed into these containers, which can then be added to the JMP Pubic report via an << add report ( ) message sent to a JMP Live Report handle. Below, the handle nw8 is bound to a new window, into which is placed the report generated from the "Check Generated Data" script. Then, a few lines later, that window is added to the JMP Live report using the << Add Report ( ) message, where webReport is a handle to a JMP Live report.
However, this will not work with a dashboard--you've got to add the dashboard directly to the report, without first placing it into any other containers. Continuing in the script below, we see that the dashboard script (it begins with the text "JMP App") is added directly to the report.
Cheers,
Brady
