Line plots for data points across different conditions

Question

Hi Guys,

I have collected some data for 100 points for three different days. How can I plot a line plot showing how each point behaves over three days on the same plot? I already have box plots for these 100 points over three different days but I would like something similar to line plots of all 100 points on the same axis over three different days.

I agree with prev post if we understand the problem. Say you track 100 wells for arsenic content over 3 days. Your box plot shows the distribution of well data at each day. If you plot concentration vs day that should show your 100 lines. Is this what you are trying to do? If so, one way is to set up the table with one column for Day, the next 100 columns for your Wells (so only 3 rows). If you have data as Item, Day, Measurement, JMP has an easy Split command for changing the table to have 101 columns.

Are you saying you want to see 100 overlaid sets of 3 values connected with line segments on one plot? That could be done using Overlay Plots.
