JMP 12 - DOE - Color Map on correlation - Bug?

Hi,

When creating a simple DOE, and after design table creation evaluating the design, the results in the design diagnostics should be the same, right. That's true for most of it, but I see a difference in the colormap of correlations in my JMP Pro Version. In the pic attached you'll see the difference. In the evaluated design there are twice the two factor interaction Terms listed which does not make sense to me.

Is there any Kind of reason why this should make sense or can I Name this a bug?

Martin,

My mistake, I didn't catch the quadratics on the left graph, I just saw the extra terms in the model on the right graph. Phil is correct. Evaluate Design adds the interactions terms into the Alias section even if they are estimable. This causes them to appear twice in the color map. The values appear to be correct, just duplicated. This is a known bug (Defect S0784051).

Looks like you have the quadratics in the graph on the right, but not the one on the left.

It looks like the two-way interactions were just repeated in the second heat map. This happens sometimes and you might have to adjust your model to get the two heat maps to agree. I think the default is to bring up the two-way interactions to show the correlation pattern. If you have them in the model as well then it just shows them twice.
