Joining two databases

Hello all,

I'm trying to write a script that'll join two databases by matching two columns.  However, one source file is .xls and one is .xlsx.  JMP opens up all the sheets in the .xls file, which creates problems when I'm trying to automate the join.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to work around this?

If you use "Open Database" the syntax allows you to specify a sheet. This was mentioned earlier in the forum but I don't recall if more detail was given. For 8.0.1 the scripting docs page 384,385 suggest how to go about it.
