Principal Components Analysis in JMP-Data Set up

Question

I am running PCA on an abbreviated New Ecological Paradigm data set.  Do I need to average my data set and subtract the mean from my raw data prior to entering it in JMP or does JMP do this for me?

By default, JMP does PC on Correlations which corresponds to centering and scaling your data (so you don't have to). You can choose instead PC on Covariances which corresponds to centering but not scaling your data, or PC on Unscaled which neither centers nor scales your data.
