In developing systems and products, the difference between the completed system and product and the design specification should be minimized. This is the idea of a typical engineering process. On the other hand, in recent years, there is an attempt to obtain a design concept from the recognition obtained by measuring the object. When the measurement result deviates from the design specification, rather than catch it as a big problem, it may be evaluated that new useful information has been obtained. Thus, the idea of using the measured data as a starting point is one of the features of reverse engineering. For example, in the case of boring of glass in machining, the processed shape is often evaluated with roundness. As a result of analyzing the obtained data, another evaluation index, for example, elliptical polar coordinates is defined and this is defined as It is also possible to evaluate using it.In the construction of the information processing system, a reverse engineering method that extracts important information by analyzing the system currently in operation and reflects it in the next system design is utilized. In the past, it was impossible for individuals to perform such data analysis, but researchers and analysts analyzed with free idea and improved design by optimum design It was possible to do.
In this presentation, we consider the possibility of strategically optimal design using JMP based on the current state of reverse engineering and statistical data analysis in machining. In addition, I would like to discuss IoT and future issues with participants.

When developing a system or product, the between between the completed system or product and the design specifications should be minimized. This is the typical engineering process attitude. On the other hand, in recent years, attempts have been made to achieve design concepts from the knowledge gained by measuring targets. When measurement results deviate from design specifications, this can have value as a way to obtain useful information, rather than being perceived as a major problem. This is one of the characteristics of reverse engineering, the attitude that measured data can be starting point. However, it is also evaluated based on the roundness of the perforations based on the results of the analyzed data, eg, by defining the polar coordinates of an elliptical shape. When establishing an information processing system, a reverse engineering method is recovered through analysis of the current system and then the information is reflected in the design of the next system. However, thanks to improvements in measuring devices and calculators and advances in analysis programs, researchers and analysts can now analyze in a free-thinking manner to aim for optimal design. In this lecture, I will review the possibility of strategic, optimal design using JMP in light of the current conditions of reverse engineering and statistical data analysis in machine processing. I would also like to discuss the Internet of Things and future issues with participants.
