Map of Minnesota

Hi,

I am trying to make a map of the counties in Minnesota but it is not coming up when I follow the examples.

I am also looking at this http://support.sas.com/resources/papers/proceedings11/289-2011.pdf and still nothing. I have a table with all the counties listed but when I put it in the map shape zone nothing comes up.

I was just wondering if anyone had the files for US counties that I could check mine or any other advice.

Hello,

I will guide you through the process of adding the US counties by using the JMP sample data file seasonal flu and graph builder.

I added State to the Map Shape zone on the bottom left. Graph Builder then created a map of the US states.

I then added a background map of the US counties by right-clicking on the map and selecting add background map from the Graph menu option.

This allowed me to select US counties to be used as my background map.

I added a local data filter to display the flu results for a particular state of my choosing by clicking on the red triangle and scrolling to the bottom and selecting Script and then Local Data Filter.

I was then able to filter the data on the state of Minnesota.
